Top green hospitals get recognizes for paperless and other efforts

Healthcare-Administration-Degree.net recently listed the top 10 greatest hospitals in the world, nine of which are located in the United States. These medical centers, awarded for their EHR adoption, document conversion services and related paperless initiatives, all focused on reducing waste produced through the care and servicing of patients.

According to Tom Stevens, author of the list, these facilities minimize their carbon footprint and do their part to save the planet in an industry full of "power guzzling hospitals."
