Dentist focuses on patient care with paperless office
Wednesday, March 19, 2014Going paperless with document conversion services is just one way some dentists are focusing more on their patients, and less on paperwork.
According to Consumer Electronics Net, one dental office in Mississauga, Ontario, recently deployed a paperless strategy that will allow it to provider faster, more comprehensive service to its patients.
"We're excited to be able to make treatment planning more comfortable for our patients and more precise for us, as dental professionals," Dr. Hawrylyshyn, the founding practitioner at the office, told the news source. "Our patients are pleasantly surprised to learn that the imaging – that is so important to good oral health care – is now more comfortable than what they've previously experienced."
Any paperless strategy has to include conversion services to bring past records into the digital formats used by document management software, and optimize workflow to ensure all records, billing and scheduling is on the same page. By investing in the right solution medical practices of all kinds can start developing their own efforts to boost the quality of care.
